Delivery of outgoing computers from the City Council to entities
The council is giving a second life to its technological devices by encouraging the reuse of its disused IT equipment by local non-profit organisations. The benefits of this circular economy project are social but also environmental.
The transfer of computer hardware program from the City Council is a municipal initiative that has existed since 1997 and was promoted thanks to the creation of the Sant Feliu Innova program, which allows entities and santfeliuenque associations start different digitization projects. In this program, any entity of the social fabric of Sant Feliu de Llobregat that promotes programs of social interest, or of public utility, can access computer equipment leaving the Town Hall.
The material provided comes from the City Council's computer park which, once renovated with the most up-to-date hardware, has a second life in the hands of the city's entities.
In this way, the transfer of these equipment contributes to reducing the digital gap of the municipality and makes possible the modernization of the receiving entities and the collaboration in digital literacy through the reuse of computer material.
The Sant Feliu de Llobregat City Council carries out an annual IT equipment renewal cycle in order to provide a quality public service, this is why this IT equipment reuse initiative is being promoted in order to nurture IT equipment which have been renovated but which are still in good conditions of use and can have a second useful life at the service of local organizations and associations.

STEAM SCHOOL: Temporary transfer of STEAM material for schools
Given the concerns of many city school teachers to do STEAM activities such as robotics, 3D printing, programming, flying programmable drones, etc. Sant Feliu Innova created the STEAM SCHOOL program, an initiative with the aim of temporarily providing the necessary tools to teachers and thus bringing these technological activities closer to the boys and girls of all the schools in Sant Feliu who request it.
As a result of the lockdown, many shortages of computer equipment were detected in schools as the learning model had to adapt and digitize and the educational centers did not have the hardware with sufficient capabilities to continue the course as normal as possible.
From Sant Feliu Innova and in collaboration with the Department of Education and Children of the City Council, various IT equipment has been lent to applicant educational centers such as Falguera, Monmany, Arquitecte Gaudí, Pau Vila, Salvador Espriu , Miquel Martí i Pol, Nadal, and the Palau Falguera restoration school, which belongs to the Martí Dot high school. Thanks to this facilitation, projects such as 'Innovamat' could be implemented in schools, a digital proposal for competence-based learning with a didactic sense of mathematical concepts.

Digital Inclusion shock plan: A pilot test consisting of offering training + equipment (eReuse)
The City Council, through the Sant Feliu Innova program and the municipal scope of transversal projects, launched the Digital Inclusion Plan during the years 2021 and 2022, a pilot initiative of the fight against the digital gap contemplated within the Pact of the City (Axis: Guarantee of Basic and Citizenship Rights) and aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS), essential in the framework of the social and economic reconstruction of the city.
Digital literacy training to reduce the digital divide
The Digital Inclusion Plan, through training and training in digital skills and abilities, intended to be a tool to combat the digital gap and the inequalities it generates, encouraging the empowerment of the citizenship
In the management of this project, both in the detection and referral of profiles with digital literacy needs, we worked closely with various departments and units of the City Council such as Social Services, the Municipal Program for Persons with Disabilities, the Local Employment Service and SPAAI Mirabolà, among others. It was a digital empowerment initiative particularly focused on people at greater risk of digital exclusion and in a situation of vulnerability, taking into account the different forms in which inequality is articulated: gender, age, education, functional diversity , ethnic origin, etc.
The implementation of this public-private collaboration project was carried out in collaboration with the social and solidarity economy agent (ESS) county SOLIDANÇA.

Test of BLETA, a tablet against the digital gap of the elderly
In its commitment to this problem, Sant Feliu Innova organized in 2022, and as part of the Mobile Week Sant Feliu 2022, training and demonstration sessions, to bring citizens closer to technology in the form of a tablet in collaboration with entrepreneur Isabel García Baños from Sant Feliuen and her Bleta project. This initiative stems from the technological isolation that many elderly people suffered during the pandemic and the confinement in 2020, when a team of young engineers came together to design and create a tablet that is fully accessible, visual and adapted to the needs of the elderly people or people with visual or hearing disabilities.
In these testing and demonstration sessions in Sant Feliu, the testing of this technology was made available to the public in order to make it easier for the elderly to communicate with their relatives, provide them with entertainment adapted to different capacities, facilitate the telematic procedures, etc.
