On June 10, it was 2 years since the beginning of the municipal mandate. From Tots Som Sant Feliu, we would like to be able to make a positive assessment of the action of the municipal government of SFeCP and ERC during this time. At the time, our group gave a vote of confidence for the investiture in the hope that the new government would give the impetus that Sant Feliu so desperately needs. Since then, we have made a constructive and responsible opposition, letting the municipal government govern, offering our hand to deal with the pandemic and its economic and social consequences; but exercising our strength as an opposition in matters that could harm the city, supporting the platform against the 'Commercial Monster' or the neighbors and merchants of the street of the Marquis of Monistrol, warning of deficiencies in the specifications of the contracts of gardening or stopping the planning that tried to build houses in the green areas and equipment in the Mas Lluí, reopening old conflicts and missing the word given to the neighbors of the neighborhood.
Of the government's action, we can only say that it has been managed on a day-to-day basis and that by inertia actions inherited from previous mandates have just been executed. Today, the only proposals of Tots Som Sant Feliu that the municipal government has responded to are the conversion of Carrer de Falguera and Carrer de Batista into a space with priority for pedestrians, the implementation of the conversation assistant in English in schools and a line of aid to gyms, restaurants and nightlife damaged by the pandemic. Even the start of the underground works that were to be launched at the beginning of the term has been further delayed.
From Tots Som Sant Feliu, we will demand that during the remaining 2 years of the mandate there be the activation that Sant Feliu needs: the help to the most disadvantaged, the much needed industrial and commercial impulse, the reconversion of the industrial estates of the stream of Health to gain green areas, equipment and social housing for rent, support for the revitalization of our valuable associative and cultural fabric, advance in the dismantling and recovery of the spaces of the Samson; adding all the effort to plan the Sant Feliu after the burial.
