Sant Feliu en Comú We can see the fourth half of the mandate with all the strength and drive that the City Pact, the Mandate Action Plan and the 2021 budget have approved with broad consensus.
Still immersed in the second wave of the pandemic, we are driving the city at cruising speed and a clear course towards its biggest challenges: overcoming the pandemic, overcoming the crisis and tackling the underground works. And we do it in collaboration with the other administrations with a firm hand defending public rights and services, and with the help of the Social Shield promoted by the State Government, in which we participate.
A City Pact approved unanimously in which social agents have participated, which has focused on the fight against the pandemic and the lessons it has left us: more equality, environmental challenge and the fight against the crisis. The level of agreement reached is perhaps a milestone that will become more important as we see it from the future.
A Mandate Action Plan (PAM) to which the City Pact has been integrated, which specifies in detail the government agreement of Sant Feliu en Comú Podem and ERC and which emphasizes the commitment to the public rental housing, the fight against climate change, the eradication of gender-based violence, the defense of public schooling, citizen participation and transparency. A WFP that lands the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in local reality and connects us to global challenges.
The 2021 budget is exceptional. Also approved with a high degree of consensus, which translates the 8 axes of the WFP into money to develop policies focused on the fight against all inequalities and which also specifies investments with a strong social and environmental emphasis. A budget that will be increased with extraordinary funds from the State Government to develop policies to overcome the pandemic and crisis.
Sant Feliu En Comú-Podem will continue to work with all the enthusiasm for the city and to achieve a change of government in Catalonia on February 14 at the hands of our candidate, Jéssica Albiach, which will allow us to come out even stronger of this damn pandemic and the crisis, to achieve this bright future that we pursue together, with all of you.
