The schedule of activities for the Spring Festival also includes a series of proposals for those who love music. From urban rhythms to tribute bands, passing through the tradition marked by havaneras and flamenco, or the bet on emerging local artists, the spring celebration by definition in Sant Feliu does not neglect any sensibility, and hits all the keys to time to enliven the three days of celebration.
Friday, May 10, from 7 p.m., the old rambla soccer field will be transformed into the musical epicenter of the afternoon with Bassfield, provided by Wisdom Link Sound System, Kapara Sound System and Red Land Sound System, in charge Sant Feliu Jam Crew and Casal Popular Blanca Bardiera. After the official opening of the Festivals and the National Exhibition of Roses, the band The Hollyberries will play at 10 p.m., on the stage of Plaça del Vuit de Març, the best hits of The Cranberries in a tribute concert formation. They will take over on this same stage at 0.15 the contagious rhythms of DJ Bailon Session with 'Com está el pati'. Night owls will also have the option of enjoying the party with PDs, starting at 1 a.m., in the parking lot of the Casal de la Gent Gran.
On Saturday 11 May, music will continue to fill the streets with the performance of the Escola Municipal de Música wind band at 12.30 in Plaça de la Vila, which at the end will join the parade also organized by the EMM. From 6 p.m., one of the highlights of the festivities will arrive: the ButifarraSound Festival, which will arrive on time like every year for its festivities. In its 19th edition, this festival will offer until dawn, in the parking lot of the old rambla soccer field, several performances including the last concert of the local group Seikos.
At 7 p.m., the stage in Plaça del Vuit de Març will host Talent Jove with the performances of Bound to and Cristina Díaz, while at the same time in the Palau Falguera Auditorium you can enjoy the charm of the Coro Rosiero Rosas Sant Feliu. Another of the weekend's unmissable musical events will arrive at 9 p.m., at the Parish Center, with the XXXVIII Flamenco Festival, a show that will transport spectators to the soul of flamenco with Ana Márquez's Ballet and the CCA Virgen del Rocío, as well as the special performance of El Sebas de la Calle.
The tribute to Loquillo y trogloditas by El Pàjaro Loco will open the musical box on Saturday night at 10 p.m., on the stage of Plaça del Vuit de Març. The party will continue at 11 p.m. in the parking lot of the Old People's Home with PDs, and also from 0 a.m. in Plaça del Vuit de March with 'Illustrated Firecrackers', by Sister Alberta.
The first notes on Sunday will be performed by the Youth Band of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, which at 12 noon will perform a parade through the fair grounds. At the same time, the Palau Falguera Auditorium will host a cantata of sweets, by the Ateneu Santfeliuenc choir, Unió Choral choir, Roses choir and Aviva Veu choir. The afternoon will continue with the ContraBaix Big Band concert at 4 p.m. on the stage of Plaça del Vuit de Març, followed an hour later by a musical by the Dragon in the parking lot of the Casal de la Gent Gran, and the performance of the Symphonic Band in the Palau Falguera Auditorium.
The Casal de la gent gran will also offer at 5 p.m. the V Trobada de havaneras, organized by the Coral Roses de la Gent Gran, and with the participation of Mariners d'Egara, the group of havaneras for the elderly from Castellbisbal, the Unió Rubinenca Choir, the Molins de Rei Women's Choir, and the old Havana group from Sant Feliu. To finish with a golden brush, at 7 p.m. the Sant Feliu Gospel Choir will offer a gospel concert in the Palau Falguera Auditorium, which will be followed at 8 p.m. by Nitro MM's performance on the stage in the Plaça del Eight of March, and the grallas concert in the parking lot of the Old People's Home, which will put an end to the musical offer of the Spring Festival.
