Europa Park

Europa Park

Parc Europa, has an area of 3 hectares, which constitute a portico in the Collserola range. This green lung was created as part of the development of the new Mas Lluí district.

It is distributed in several terraces and includes recreational areas, spacious lawns, a lake at the top and a road that crosses the park longitudinally.

Among the plant species predominate: poplars, pines, pagoda trees, Robin, maple trees, different types of shrubs and conifers.

The lake is located at the top of the park presents a remarkable biodiversity, highlighting different species of birds, fish and turtles, often illegally deposited in the lake and modifying the original ecosystem.

In May 2012 the school Martí Pol sponsored this park as part of the actions of the School Agenda 21. The aim of this sponsorship was aware of the students' families about the importance of respecting and caring for the park, especially in the area of ​​the lake that lies in front of the center.

In early 2015 expanded the area of ​​the park at the top due to the expansion of Lluis Mas district.

  • Wildfire version of the wild duck. Many of them are mixtures of different species of ducks and geese.

  • It is basically herbivorous, it eats tender shoots and aquatic plants, but also seeds.

  • Indigenous to our house.
  • Very varied diet, eat herbs, worms, snails and seeds.
  • Aquatic bird of black color, with the tip and front of red color and yellow tip.
